In for a penny…

In 1991 I secured my dream job as a Royal Marsden nurse and was given my first placement, on ‘Bud Flanagan ward!’ It was a ward that had 16 beds including 10 isolation rooms, making it the biggest Bone Marrow Transplant Unit in the world. Was I anxious at all? Well, just a bit…so, I drew this!
